December is Universal Human Rights Month

December is designated as Universal Human Rights Month. Adopted by the United States General Assembly,
the Universal Declaration of Human Rights sets forth the fundamental rights and freedoms for every 
person on earth and is the first multinational declaration mentioning human rights by name.
